GS Yuasa, the world-renowned battery manufacturer, has launched the next phase of its flagship European brand campaign: powering what matters. Following the incredible success of the original campaign – which achieved over 270 million impacts across Europe – this new evolution brings the brand’s message to life in a more powerful, emotional and visible way than ever before. 

The new campaign builds on GS Yuasa’s reputation for powering everyday life, from the ordinary to the extraordinary. From car batteries and motorcycles to telecom towers, emergency systems and even the International Space Station – GS Yuasa powers what matters. 

At the heart of the campaign is a high-end, emotionally driven advert, centred on a young boy and his father as they journey through a world filled with GS Yuasa-powered technology. Each scene highlights real-world battery applications, with on-screen product callouts reinforcing GS Yuasa’s unparalleled product range and technical relevance. 

The advert is supported by a suite of short-form video vignettes, sector-specific visuals, high-impact print and digital assets, and an interactive landing page. The creative direction introduces a new brand device: a bold orange power icon, visually linked to the GS Yuasa logo, which features prominently across all materials to boost campaign recall. 

To make the campaign even more interactive, GS Yuasa has launched a fun new online game! Players can compete for high scores at www.poweringwhatmatters.com and be in with a chance to win fantastic prizes.
